Felix Fietkau 985ee9fc8f LED driver for PCEngines ALIX boards 
This patch adds a driver for the three LEDs that exists on the
PCEngines ALIX 2 and 3 series boards.

The driver is also added to the Alix profile.

Felix Fietkau eeebde136d Minor patch to the AR7 diag.sh to make the status LED a bit more useful. From the patch: 
This setup gives us 3.5 distinguishable states:

- Solid OFF:  Bootloader running, or kernel hung (timer task stalled)
- Solid ON:   Kernel hung (timer task stalled)
- 5Hz blink:  preinit
- Heartbeat:  normal operation

Felix Fietkau 5dc134c542 Fix VLYNQ device enable for DG834Gv1 
This patch allows VLYNQ devices on the DG834Gv1 to be successfully
enabled.

Currently the "__vlynq_enable_device" function attempts to set the VLYNQ
device clock divisor to values from 1 through 8 until a link is
successfully established. On the DG834Gv1 (but not the DG834Gv2),
setting the VLYNQ device clock divisor to 1 (full rate) results in all
further VLYNQ operations failing (including software reset), so the
device is never enabled. This patches changes the function to only
attempt divisors 2 through 8, and hence the device is successfully
enabled.

Felix Fietkau b513ee61a5 only do hotplug2 init if hotplug2 is present 
The current /init script unconditionally does the initialisation for
hotplug2, including mounting a new /dev. If hotplug2 isn't present, we
end up with no device nodes.

This change only does the hotplug2 init if hotplug2 is present, but
always mounts /sys.

Felix Fietkau 881bac2db2 Allow targets to specify extra initramfs source files 
The CONFIG_INITRAMFS_SOURCE Kconfig variable can be a space-separated
list of source files (or directories). This allows a platform to
add extra components to the initramfs image, by defining the
INITRAMFS_EXTRA_FILES make var.

By default, we add a simple initramfs extra file for the generic-2.6
platform, which specifies a few device nodes.

Felix Fietkau d8e032edef don't replace powerpc arch with ppc 
'powerpc' is a valid arch for the LINUX_KARCH variable, but the build
system unconditionally replaces LIUNUX_KARCH=powerpc with
LINUX_KARCH=ppc.

This change only does the replacement if LINUX_KARCH isn't set. This
allows us to use the powerpc architecture.

Felix Fietkau 63300d3d91 Fix broadcom squashfs images: 
We switched over to appending the jffs2 eof mark to the squashfs images,
but since the squashfs is not always aligned to eraseblocksize, the eof
mark landed in the wrong place. This commit adds an extra flag to the
trx utility that can append extra data to a partition with alignment.
This is used to place the jffs2 eof mark at the right offset.

Felix Fietkau e78fb96964 Reorganize kernel configs - target/linux/*/config is now a directory. ./config/default will replace the old config and config-diff (format is like config-diff, the full kernel config is no longer kept in the build system) This commit removes all the kernel config stuff, the next one will add the replacement - there's no way to do this atomically with svn.

Felix Fietkau 912e5867ef Finally fix the pesky x86-2.6 block2mtd related crash (#1058) When erasing blocks, block2mtd checks the block on the physical disk to see if everything's filled with 0xff. When grabbing a page from the page cache, it initializes the limit as <start address> + PAGE_SIZE. Turns out that the pointer to the status page is (unsigned long *), and thus it adds (PAGE_SIZE * 4). This would never have been caught, if it wasn't for the unlikely event that block2mtd catches the *last* page available in the system ram and thus tries to scan 4 memory pages from there. The absolutely trivial fix is to do a double cast (cast to (u8 *), add PAGE_SIZE, then cast to (unsigned long *)) 
... and there was much rejoicing

Rod Whitby fb8f8ffcc2 Added the npe-ucode package to create the microcode for the IXP4XX NPE ethernet driver. Note that the user has to download the actual Intel microcode package themselves (agreeing to the Intel license to do so).
