1. We have newer browser modules that can replace it, and already do.
2. It uses an egghunter that we don't favor in BAP
3. It uses system addresses, which we no longer favor.
This switches the Metasploit Framework to a Rails 3 backend. If you run
into new problems (especially around Active Record or your postgresql
gem) you should try first updating your Ruby installation to 1.9.3 and
use a more recent 'pg' gem.
If that fails, we'd love to see your bug report (just drop all the
detail you can into an issue on GitHub). In the meantime, you can
checkout the rails2 branch, which was branched from master immediately
before this cutover.

intent is clear there as well.

That said, the Description field is usually written as tab-intended
multiline %q{} enclosures, so that's what I'll do here to make
msftidy.rb happy.
No automatic targeting, the payload doesn't execute immediately, and
requires the browser be running as Admin. Bascially just not a great
candidate for being run automatically.
This allows us to maintain a connection between the client and the
operating system/host where it's running.
Also fixes a counting problem for modules actually started.
Allows editors to easily highlight correctly which makes editing a
little nicer. Also makes it easier to debug because line numbers are
only off by the length of the custom_js argument.
This is the result of:

Set session info before worrying about address
get_interfaces can take a while on Linux, grab uid and hostname earlier
so we can give the user an idea of what they popped as soon as possible.

Merge changes into the new branch
Downcases lots and standardizes a few. Notably, modules that reported a
service name of "TNS" are now "oracle". Modules that report http
now check for SSL and report https instead.

These must have been broken for quite some time. =/ They should
probably both be ARCH_PHP but I'm reluctant to make that big of a change
without having the target software to test.
Module titles should read like titles. For
capitalization rules in English, see:
http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/592/01/
The only exceptions are function names (like 'thisFunc()') and specific
filenames (like thisfile.ocx).
Fixes an issue where a different module load order would result in one
of the vmware modules failing to load be cause vim_soap hadn't been
required yet. Thanks d0rm0us3 for having a weird system and spotting
stuff like this.
