In case of .11ac device the hwmode was not properly displayed.
This patch fixes it.

This patch enables netifd to query 802.11ac-driver for the maximum
supported A-MPDU length exponent, possibly increasing VHT throughput by
more aggressive frame aggregation.

`own_ip_addr` is used by hostapd as NAS-IP-Address.
This is used to identify the AP that is requesting the authentication of the
user and could be used to define which AP's can authenticate users.
Some vendors implement only NAS-Identifier or NAS-IP-Address and not both.
This patch adds ownip as an optional parameter in /etc/config/wireless.

On UBI enabled devices, U-Boot might store it's environment on
UBI volume(s). Support this in uboot-envtools, so fw_setenv and
fw_printenv can work on these platforms.

Since svn rev [38557] we support power buttons, for example
the ACPI power button on x86 machines.
Add a simple shutdown script to /etc/rc.button, to gracefully shutdown
the machine after the power button is pressed.
Tested on x86 and x86_64 in a kvm virtual machine.

The chipidea USB OTG controller is dual-role and supports both host and device
modes. Enable device mode.
Tested on Gateworks Ventana imx6 board with g_ether.
Are there any other targets out there that use the CHIPIDEA controller? If so
testing is needed for those.

Patch sets the source IP address of DHCP request messages during rebind to the IP address
assigned to the udhcpc client. Source address 0.0.0.0 can only be used by a client prior
to obtaining its IP address (see RFC2131 § 4.1). Source IP address behavior lines up now with
the ISC dhcp client implementation for DHCP request messages during rebind and DHCP release
messages.

Many of the 4G/LTE and 3G modems utilize the QMI-protocol to control the
modem. At the moment there is no support for them in OpenWrt. This
patch adds support for them in the form of a netifd script and a
control utility. Tested with Huawei E398 and ZTE MF820D (which requires
a delay of ~30 s before responding to QMI commands). I put myself up as
the maintainer, feel free to change this if you desire.

DHCP entries in /etc/config/dhcp will not automatically create A or PTR
records. Add an "option dns" directive which appends an entry to
/tmp/hosts/dhcp to facilitate forward and reverse DNS lookups. For
instance, this item:
config host
option ip '192.168.0.10'
option mac '00:13:57:9b:df:02'
option name 'winpc'
option dns '1'
will add a corresponding entry to /tmp/hosts/dhcp:
192.168.0.10 winpc.lan
This keeps the hostname/IP/MAC in a single place, for easy maintenance.
Related: ticket #13854 reports an regression involving missing PTR
records when using "config domain" to define static DNS entries for
individual hosts. However, per Simon Kelley[1], the --address feature
used by "config domain" was never intended to generate DNS A records for
hosts. It would probably be better for the reporter to apply this patch,
and then use "config host" sections instead of "config domain" sections.

This patch adds a config option to enable DFS in ath9k and ath10k
drivers (with ath10k you need the AP-branch firmware). I'm not entirely
sure about the regulatory compliance issues, though. As far as I
understand, enabling the DFS_CERTIFIED config options implies that the
device is certified for DFS. No doubt the original firmware has obtained
such a certification, but not with the open source drivers. I suppose
that as long as this is disabled in default builds (like ATH_USER_REGD)
everything should be fine, but it would be nice to have out-of-the-box
OpenWrt support for DFS. I'm also not sure whether the description of
the configuration option should say something about regulatory compliance.

By default kobs-ng will use the size of /dev/mtd0 for the IMX bootstreams.
This patch allows overriding that size in order to reserve space at the end
of the mtd partition for u-boot.img in the case of using an SPL bootloader.
For example, to flash an SPL bootloader that loads u-boot.img from 0xe0000
(14MB) offset in a 16MB /dev/mtd0:
kobs-ng init -v -x --search_exponent=1 --chip_0_size=0xe00000 SPL
nandwrite --start=0xe00000 --pad /dev/mtd0 u-boot.img

This patch implements support for 802.11s protected mesh wireless networks (using authsae) in the netifd framework.
Until meshd-nl80211 implements a proper -P option for the PID file, this uses shell backgrounding in order to be able to get the PID for the process.

r39995 introduced a new parameter wps_pbc_in_m1 to wifi wps config, but
apparently did not provide a default value 0.
When that option's non-existing value is later evaluated in
/lib/netifd/hostapd.sh, it causes the "bad number" error to be logged in
syslog if user has not set the wps_pbc_in_m1 option. The error materialises
only if user has enabled wps.

Some boards have the WLAN EEPROM stored in flash in big-endian format,
whereas the driver requires the EEPROM in little-endian format. The
conv=swab option in dd is particularly useful in this case. This patch
backports this feature from busybox-1.22 based on the following commits:

The ltq-adsl-mei driver allocates memory for the ADSL firmware in a
rather stupid way, leading to several 128k allocations, which fail when
many services are enabled. This patch tries to allocate 64 kiB chunks,
and only falls back to larger allocations if the returned pointers are
not correctly aligned. Fixes out-of-memory errors on Danube boards with
32 MiB RAM.

Without timeout mechanism, if ssh client disconnected without sending
FIN or RST, forked dropbear servers would hang there for
KEX_RETRY_TIMEOUT seconds (8 hours).
TCP keepalive is not implemented in dropbear yet, thus the name
SSHKeepAlive.
300 seconds in this patch is selected from the default value of
ServerAliveInterval for Debian ssh client (See man ssh_config).

The antenna gain attribute has been removed from the upstream regulatory database.
Incorperate patch from Luis R. Rodriguez to skip the parsing of the gain attribute
in genregdb.awk in order to emit proper rules again.
Also refresh fuzzy patches while we're at it.

NAND flash is very likely to contain bad blocks.
Currently, mtd and therefore sysupgrade fails when it encounters a single bad block, potentially leaving an unbootable system.
This patch allows the mtd utility to skip bad blocks in NAND flash and complete sysupgrade successfully.

Option pbc_in_m1 is being used as a WPS capability discovery
workaround for PBC with Windows 7.
Add possibility to enable this workaround from UCI.
To enable it, turn on wps and set wps_pbc_in_m1 parameter to 1.

This patch removes dependancy of PPP from chat application as chat application can be used for other serial communication as well that is not dependant on PPP and therefore one should be able to install chat without PPP. There also are no dependencies within chat application for PPP.

Build all of the can support as modules, otherwise the kernel image is
changed when a can kernel package is selected, because the can protocol
is then built in into the kernel image.

Trunk and the latest backport to Attitude Adjustment have the
kmod-rt2800-soc package hidden for the ramips_rt288x target.
This makes the dependency match the dependency given in the
TITLE field.

Minor fix to existing patch which did not correctly implement -n support for the export command in ash. The VEXPORT flag of a variable was set in the first call to setvareq() and then remained set in the subsequent call, because the variable already existed in the environment.
Although /lib/functions.sh by default does not export variables (NO_EXPORT=1), this issue was leading to dirty environments.
Without this fix:
(ash) export A=1; export -n B=2; /bin/ash -c "echo \$A, \$B"
1, 2
With this fix:
(ash) export A=1; export -n B=2; /bin/ash -c "echo \$A, \$B"
1,

This patch updates ath10k firmware to the latest version, changes the
default firmware to be the one optimized for access point operation, and
introduces a configuration option to choose the client-optimized
firmware instead during build time.
