Geoff Levand	525d86686e	udev: Update udev package from udev-106 to udev-142 Update the init scripts have to use udevadm where appropriate. The udev package no longer provides separate udev utilities like udevtrigger and udevsettle. These have been incorporated into the udev admin program udevadm. Replace the udevextras sub package with config options to the udev package. Update the preinit script to check for '/lib/udev/devices', and copy it to '/dev/ if it is found, then to conditionaly setup /dev the old way with mknod etc. Udev now recommends using the directory '/lib/udev/devices' to initialize the '/dev' directory at startup. Lars-Peter Clausen	246a5b334d	More libtool madness: Every package which was using c++ and libtool fixup was linked against libstd++ even though if it should have been linked against uclibc++. This is fixed by providing a special version of libtool fixup for packages which should use uclibc++. Not pretty but functional. Packages linking against uclibc++ should use PKG_FIXUP:=libtool-ucxx instead of PKG_FIXUP:=libtool Somebody should probably check all packages using c++ with a dependency on stdlibc++ if uclibc++ can be used instead now. Currently sta mode works provided that you have an AP enabled as well but it doesn't work if you have a sta interface but not an AP. I found that merely reversing the order of the ap and apsta variables in the broadcom.sh script corrects this problem, and the attached patch does exactly that. This allows the use of the sysupgrade script as an _installer_ when running from an iso image. A user could boot the system from a bootable cd and invoke sysupgrade -n <URL> to write an image to the hard disk or CF. It leaves mac80211 and b43 in different states. mac80211's hw->queues will be left at 4 (QoS enabled), while QoS will be disabled inside of b43's queue handling. There currently is no way to disable QoS after loading the firmware. Buildroot should probably statically change the module parameter to QoS=0, if the opensource firmware is built into the image. Felix Fietkau	f5fba5bc3c	Asus WL-330gE Support Here is support for the compact Asus WL-330gE. It uses that all-in-one 5354 Broadcom chip that's also in the WL-520gU, so I assume USB support can be soldered on. I've yet to open up the device, though. Initial flashing is done through the CFE failsafe mode like on other Asus devices, where you boot holding the reset button, the power LED flashes, and you tftp an image. It removes /sbin/usb-storage in favor of using the block hotplug event. There are dummy scripts to handle the plug in/out of USB and IEEE1394 devices for updating LEDs.
