[ #24032633 ] I've put this shell incantation to do a mysqldump and copy the gzipped file to RY's dreamhost account as a stepping stone. Next steps:
...
a cron job to do this -- temporarily, we can wire it to web1's cron...but this will be problematic once we have autoscaling
get a backup space that is paid for by Gluejar and not RY
