1. Redirected pages go from https to http inappropriately. For example, https://www.gutenberg.org/catalog redirects properly but changes to http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks .. this seems to happen with some search pages, also. Status: Investigating. This looks like an issue with redirect syntax or server config.
2. Kindle issues. Kindles are getting an outdated version of the web page, which has invalid/ill-formed HTML or CSS. Status: The issue has been identified, and a fix is expected soon.

Status: We don't know what to do with this, since the site works with other browsers and the W3C validator says the page is valid (i.e, no errors reported). *We suspect this impacts older Kindles that have not, or cannot, receive updates.* Here is an article that says HTML5+CSS should work now: https://goodereader.com/blog/kindle/kindle-and-html5-a-match-made-in-heaven , but there are many other stories online that describe problems with HTML5 and CSS.
